Orange Delight "Salad"

Continuing with more desserts, this basically gelatin and cool whip mixed together.

You will need:
3 oz. Orange Gelatin
1 small can drained and cut Mandarin oranges
3 tsp. Tang
1 container Cool Whip
Fillings, such as marshmallows

Dissolve your gelatin as you would normally, using 1 cup of boiling water. Add your Tang and stir. Let it cool, and when it is slightly thickened, add your Cool Whip. Finally, add your oranges, or perhaps any other fillings you'd like. Mix well and let it cool in the refrigerator.

This is a really basic recipe, however it's really nice to know because you can substitute your fruits for almost anything. If you want strawberries, use strawberry gelatin with bits of strawberry, or perhaps you can mix and match with strawberry gelatin and use fruit cocktail. Find out what you like!

Wisconsin Cream Cheese Brownies

Relatively easy and delicious.

You will need:
4oz Baking Chocolate (Sweet)                     1/2 Tsp. Baking Powder
5 Tbsp. Butter                                               1/2 Tsp. Salt
3 oz. Low Fat Cream Cheese                       1/2 Cup Flour (For the dough)
1 Cup Sugar                                                  1/2 Cup Nuts (optional)
3 Eggs (or substitute)                                    An 8 inch pan (recommended)
1 Tbsp. Flour                                                 1 1/2 Tsp. Vanilla

Preheat oven to 350˚

In a small bowl, melt the chocolate and 3 tablespoons of butter using a stove or a microwave and let it cool.
In another bowl, cream the last 2 tablespoons of butter with the cream cheese, gradually adding 1/4 cup of the sugar. Add and blend in an egg, the tablespoon of flour and the vanilla. Set aside.

In a large bowl, beat 2 eggs, and the remaining (3/4 Cup) sugar, baking powder, salt, and 1/2 cup flour. Blend in the chocolate mixture and nuts if preferred. Pour 1/2 of the chocolate mixture onto the pan and spread it. Add spoonfuls of the cream cheese, and mix regularly over the chocolate and spread thinly with a spatula. Add the remaining chocolate. If you'd like to marble the brownies, lightly zig-zag with a table knife without touching the bottom of the pan.

Bake for 32-35 minutes and enjoy!
